🎃Happy Halloween!🎃

I hope everyone has a great halloween. I’m sure most of you have plans tonight, if not read my blog posts haha. But for those who are busy here’s a short blog post of my autumnal pictures. (I swear my neighbours must think I’m crazy when I take photos like these).

Don’t forget to catch next weeks post, where I’ll be uploading photos from Poland. They’re beautiful!

Hope you enjoyed this short blog post, like if you love my pumpkin carving skills haha.

Halloween Make up

Firstly, I feel like I have some explaining to do. So if you read last week’s post then you’ll know that I said I had the next three weeks of blog posts sorted, which is true but, I never actually gave myself enough time to do it all. Yesterday, I was trying to frantically pack and somehow I’d forgot to buy random essentials which is weird when I feel like I was organised last month. Anyways, I’m going to Poland tomorrow well in 6 hours, so instead of getting some sleep, doing the numerous amounts of homework I have, or even just relaxing before an exciting few days, I thought I’d blog. YAY! Better late than never…

Here’s my Halloween Make up, to be honest its more autumnal…

Anyone else appreciate my Autumnal efforts?!? I received creepy looks off of my neighbour for them leaves…

So I start how I would normally, with (moisturising first of course) using my No7 Match Made Concealer, then the No7 Stay Perfect Foundation, both in the shade ‘Calico’. I love the consistency of both and at the minute they’re matching my skin tone so well. I then just add the L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper, on my brows of course. I’m sure you will have read my story into depth on my fear of making my eyebrows look like slugs, so I don’t tend to do anything with them.

Okay, so if you really want a Halloween look then draw a cobweb on your face or something, but like I said this is more of an autumnal look without it meaning to. I wanted to focus on the eye shadow, to do this, I used two different products, the first one being the No7 palette and the second one; Soap & Glory, ‘Tricks of the Shade’. I love the latter one because it comes with the Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner that everyone raves about.

For the base I used a mixture of the white in the No7 and the lightest shade in Soap & Glory. I then put on the shade in the Soap & Glory on the bottom row, second one in from the middle of my lid to the outer corner. I then blended this out. Then finally, using the darkest shade of the Soap & Glory palette to go on my crease and I just blended that out.

Then I went for winged eyeliner with the Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner. I love how easy it is to apply and just how great the overall look is with this eyeliner. I then use the Revlon Eyeliner to apply to my lower lash line.

Then I curl my lashes and apply the Benefit Roller Lash. And to be honest I think I have talked enough about this mascara the past couple of months that I’ll save you from listening to anymore.

Finally, I’ll apply this Seventeen Lip Crayon. This is the perfect autumnal shade for someone like me who’s afraid of too dark of a shade. This really just compliments the look.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post and it makes up for not having one last night. So sorry there’s no pictures of the finished look but I will try to include it in next weeks post (which will be Halloween and when I’ll be wearing this make up). Also, anything I didn’t link was because I couldn’t find it, however, I did type the full name of each product if you want to search for it yourself. But comment down below what you’re up to for Halloween, or even your blog links so I can see your Halloween make up.

Autumn Tag

Whether you like short posts or not, this is one of them. I have planned the next three blog posts so they’ll be better put together. Anyways, recently, I have been reading loads of Autumn and ‘Sweater Weather’ Tags, so I thought I’d take a small handful of those questions and answer them here.

Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate?

Usually, I’d say Tea all the way but recently I have been loving my Hot Chocolate. Literally the best thing before bed and so lovely to have a warm drink on cold evenings.

Favourite thing about Autumn?

Watching the leaves change colour each day. I also love getting wrapped up warm again and lighting all of my candles. OOH and Halloween, I do love Halloween…

Combat boots or Uggs?

Combat boots all the way! So comfortable. Recently bought myself another pair from Topshop.

Favourite Autumn Clothing Item?

Definitely has to be my Topshop Coat, its so warm and cosy. Mentioned this in a previous post that you can read here.

Favourite Autumnal Lip Product?

In love with this berry-toned Seventeen Lip Product. I have been really wary of using this as the packaging looks as if its almost purple. But having tried this recently, I have realised its the perfect shade for my lips and will be perfect for this season.

So I didn’t want to end this too soon, so I decided I would add ‘My 10 Favourite Autumnal Things’

1. Candles (How could It not?)

2. The colour of the leaves

3. Hot drinks

4. Halloween

5. Red lipstick

6. Cosy socks

7. Pumpkins

8. Crisp air

9. Scarves

10. Boots

Hope you enjoyed this short blog post, keep an eye out for my posts coming out, I’m very excited. Like, comment, catch me on twitter; @Sophi15samantha

Autumn Evening Routine

I am really loving these cold, dark evenings, which probably won’t last long, but oh well. Here’s my Autumn Evening Routine…

To start with, I take my make up off. Using the Garnier Micellar Water first, to mainly take off my eye make up then the Nivea Facial Wash Gel to give a deeper cleanse to my skin.

Then I run myself a hot bubble bath. Its just so relaxing and it helps me forget whatever type of day I might have had! Around this time of the evening is when I’ll most likely be watching YouTube. I really love Zoella, Tanya Burr, Emily Canham, etc.

Next, I put this Body Butter on, it makes my skin feel silky smooth. I did talk about this fleetingly, in last weeks post if you want to check it out, you can read it here.

After that, I get my pyjamas on. I literally have the comfiest pyjamas EVER! These ones are from New look, even though these were bought recently, I couldn’t find them on the site so I can’t link them.

If its really, really cold, which believe it or not, it has been recently, I get my fluffy socks on! If its super freezing I get my white soft fluffy dressing gown on. At the minute, writing this, I have my dressing gown on. I wouldn’t say its super freezing, but it is cold and I just really wanted to wear it…

For most of the night, I will obviously have dinner, but then I just watch friends, go on my phone and just catch up with my family. If I remember though, I’ll light a candle this is the Yankee candle in the scent “Pink Honeysuckle”. It’s not a very autumnal scent but I really like it and I haven’t yet bought any autumnal ones yet but this will do!

If my Dad’s not at work, then I will get him to make me a hot chocolate, asking nicely of course…This is not an act of laziness he just makes a really good hot chocolate. But anyways, I have really enjoyed having a hot chocolate on a night, even if it hasn’t been a cold evening.

Finally, I get myself into bed and if its the weekend I’ll usually put my T.V on and watch a movie. If its a week night, I’ll just go on my phone, which is apparently really bad and doesn’t help your sleeping pattern but its just become routine now (obviously it has, otherwise it wouldn’t be in this post.)

Hope you enjoyed this blog post. Comment down below one of the things you do during the evening. Don’t forget to like and catch me on twitter: @sophi15samantha

September Favourites

How is it October already? Suppose its a good job we’re closer to Christmas as I’m sat here now, watching a Christmas movie. Anyways, I did want to do some sort of Autumnal post, but I have no cute pictures yet and I can’t take any because it just doesn’t look like Autumn yet! Instead, here’s my 8 September Favourites.

1. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

september faves

I have used this everyday, twice a day during September and its been a really good product to take my make up off on a night and just make my face feel refreshed on a morning. I do want to experiment with different cleansers, to see which works best for my skin type but I would still repurchase this.

2. Miss Selfridge Beau & Etoile

september faves 2

I love these fragrances! As you can see I have nearly used them up. But they’re such a cute size they just live in my bag for school. I’ve really used them the most of September (and my friends have) because it’s so easy to top up during the day. I also really love the smell of both, definitely had to be in a favourites.

 3. My bed.

This sounds really weird to have a bed in a favourites post. But I just think what with school starting up again, I haven’t had the chance to be in bed as much as I’d like to (my laziness at its best). Seriously though, I live for the weekend just to have a lie in, not for my plans (that I rarely have) but to just sleep. This favourite was inspired by a best friend as we both talked about not having enough appreciation for our beds!! So yeah, I’m sure I’ll get back into the routine of school, however, at the minute, I’ll just go get myself tucked up into bed…

4. Socks

september faves 5

However, in September when I haven’t been able to get into bed I’ve had my socks on. This is really weird for me, because if you know me personally (unlikely considering like 3 people I know, know about this blog) you’ll understand I don’t like wearing socks. When I go out I kind of have to, but when I’m at home I literally never wear them. September though, my feet have been freezing so if I have to wear socks, why not amazing ones?!? (Be thankful you didn’t see my star ones). I have to admit these are quite cosy…

5. Roller Lash

september faces 3

After a good month of using this product, I can safely say, I LOVE it!! I do describe why here. But I have straight, short lashes which is sooo annoying, however, this mascara does help a lot.

6. TV Show- Made in Chelsea.

Recently, Sky, uploaded Season 9 of Made in Chelsea and it’s just reminded me how much I love it! Can’t wait to finish this season as before I was addicted. Definitely a favourite!

7. Body Butter.

september faves 4

This makes the skin sooo soft! I have loved applying it on a night during September. I still love my Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory but I prefer using that on a morning as its a stronger scent. This is much more subtle and relaxing.

8. Reading

september faves 6

September, I have tried really hard to read more. Currently, I’m reading ‘P.S I love you’ by Cecelia Ahern and so far its made me laugh and cry so much, and I’m only a third of the way through. I do think I will write a review on it, but I also have plenty of other posts in mind.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post, I’m going to go cry at the ending of this Christmas film again (The Christmas Visitor). But like, comment one of your favourites in September and don’t forget to catch me on twitter: @Sophi15samantha
